Store Policy

Contractor is a web design company and Client desires to engage Contractor to design and develop a website for Client’s business.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:

  1. Services

Contractor agrees to provide the following services to Client (the “Services”):

  • Website Hosting and Domain: Setting up website hosting and domain for one year. Renewal fees after the first year will be £100 for one year or £150 for two years.
  • Branding: Creating branding materials including logo, flyers, business cards, price lists for listed treatments, email signature.
  • Website Design: Design and develop a website with the following pages:
    • Home page
    • Contact page
    • Privacy policy
    • About Us page
    • Gallery page
    • Individual page for each listed treatment on the onboarding form
  • Email: Providing a professional email address with access to webmail login or configurations for phone/mail client (storage space: 2 GB). Two emails are included for free. Additional emails will be £20/year each.
  • Google Registration: Registering Client’s business on Google.
  • SEO Optimization: Keyword research, technical SEO, and one blog post per listed treatment.
  • Landing Pages: Designing two landing pages – a generic and a service-specific sales page.
  • Booking System: Implementing an automated booking system allowing clients to book appointments and displaying them on the website’s calendar.
  • E-commerce Functionality: Integrating WooCommerce to enable online booking and payment using Stripe.
  • Email Marketing Integration: Integrating with the free version of MailChimp or Klaviyo (upgrades are Client’s responsibility).
  • WhatsApp Integration: Including a WhatsApp link for users to message Client.
  • Stock Photos: Providing stock photos for treatments if Client does not have their own images or videos. Client understands availability and choice are not guaranteed, and may need to provide their own footage for certain treatments.
  • Contact Form: Creating a contact form to collect user data and forward requests to Client’s chosen email.
  • Website Maintenance (First 3 Months): Providing minor edits for the first three months after launch, including changing prices, updating images, or similar changes taking less than one hour.
  1. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content for the website, including text, images, and logos.
  • Review and approve all design concepts and website drafts in a timely manner.
  • Provide feedback throughout the design and development process.
  • Cooperate with Contractor to ensure the timely completion of the Services.
  • Pay all fees associated with the Services in accordance with the payment schedule outlined below.
  1. Payment Schedule

Client agrees to pay Contractor the following fees:

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the full balance due upon signing this Agreement.
  • Project Fee: 50% of the full balance due upon completion of the website design.
  • Website Maintenance (After 3 Months): £100 per month after the initial three-month complimentary period.
  1. Term and Termination

This Agreement will commence on the Effective Date and will remain in effect until all Services are completed and paid for.

This Agreement may be terminated by either party upon written notice to the other party for any reason or no reason. In the event of termination by Client, Client shall be obligated to pay Contractor for all Services rendered up to the date of termination, plus any additional fees incurred by Contractor due to Client’s termination.

  1. Intellectual Property

Contractor retains all ownership rights to the underlying code and functionality of the website. Client owns all intellectual property rights in the content provided by Client for the website, including text, images, and logos.

  1. Warranties and Disclaimers

Contractor warrants that the Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. However, Contractor does not warrant that the website will be error-free or will meet all of Client’s specific needs.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Contractor’s liability under this Agreement shall be limited to the amount of fees paid by Client to Contractor. Contractor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
